Governors

About the Governing Body
As part of the Symphony Learing Trust, please visit the Trust website for more information on governance at Trust level.

The Local Governing Body (LGB) has general responsibility for the conduct of the school with a view to promoting high standards of educational achievement. The day to day business of school life remains the responsibility of the Co-headteacher's and the senior leadership team.

Our Governing Body is made up of staff, parent and co-opted governors and our Headteacher.

Copies of the minutes from governor's meetings are available from the school on request.

How can you contact the Governors?
We would like to be as accessible as possible within the school community. If you have any suggestions for improvement your ideas and comments will be welcome. You can contact the Governors by;

Letter: Please address any written correspondence to the Chair of Governors c/o The Meadow Community Primary School and Pre-School. Hand this into the school office and your letter will be forwarded as soon as possible.

Email: gov.caroline@meadowcommunity.leics.sch.uk. This email will go to the Chair of Governors.

Just a reminder: If you have an issue with something in school, your first point of contact should always be your child’s teacher and subsequently the Headteacher – please contact reception to make an appointment. Governors do not normally get involved in the day to day running of the school – that is rightly left to the Headteacher and the senior leadership team.

We welcome your views and your continued support of the school.
